What We Collect

When you click on an article link on Hacker News, we collect:

  • The article title
  • The article URL
  • The timestamp of when you clicked

How We Use Your Data

Your reading history is used solely to:

  • Display your personal reading history
  • Generate AI summaries of articles you've read
  • Categorize articles for easier browsing

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely and is only accessible with your personal API key. We do not share your reading history with third parties.

What We Don't Collect

  • We don't track clicks on Hacker News internal pages (comments, profiles, etc.)
  • We don't collect any personal information beyond your reading history
  • We don't use cookies for tracking purposes

Data Deletion

You can delete individual articles from your history at any time through the dashboard. To delete all your data, contact us or simply stop using the extension.
