I was sick of the comments and prints taking away my visual focus when coding, so I made this VS Code extension today to just hide them, literally. Interesting how no one did this before, it seems to be a problem for a lot of students still learning code.
No other site personalizes the text toward your mistakes, and no site focuses on the culprit (thanks QUERTY!!) - 2-letter mistakes due to awkward finger placement. We implemented a heat map that maps all your 2 letter mistake patterns so you can see what mistakes you make and improve those over time with deliberate practice. Try it out for yourself.
I hated learning how to touch type at age 18. I made this MVP so you can spend the least time typing for the most benefit. Uses bayesian networks and LLMs. hoping it helps you too.
Its called Ahrain, ahh... rain, I know, it's bad.
But it works! It was built in 2 days with a python scraper getting the weather data from a google weather search and emailing it through AWS Lambdas and S3 bucket stuff. Its open source, any comments will be appreciated! Please go check it out, and please don't crash it haha, hosting for free on Vercel as of now!
Hopefully it gives you value. Enjoy!
