Not sure your last statement is necessarily correct, just think of the massive doping in the former soviet union. The prestige gained by countries due to e.g. the Olympics regularly causes people to use illicit means.

There is a sport called finswimming which has underwater speed disciplines (apnea or with bottles). But as the name implies it comes with the use of fins.
Nice implementation. I found it very intuitive to find the necessary features like marking a mine or tapping on a number that has all its mines marked to reveal the safe squares.

Not op, just an observation, when you are underwater e.g. diving these things are really loud. Of course jet skis etc are even worse but the latter is not permitted were I go diving. Maybe that's part of the resentment.
I also tend to use my freediving experience for the opposite, when I'm highly stressed I tend to do one or two short (full exhale) breath holds to calm down. This works amazingly quickly and let's me refocus.

That is still considered hyperventilation as a freediver, even though you might not feel any symptoms. The suggestions you gave in your previous post are dangerous and should not be done. Please take a proper course to learn about free diving physiology and safety. Otherwise this sport can get dangerous very quickly.
Correct. You can deal with the urge to breathe with your brain. High co2 has additional benefits for your metabolism, you just need to deal with it.

You should try freediving. 2 length in a 50m pool without weights and fins is way above average. But please take a course first, free diving can be very safe but only if done with a properly trained buddy.
