Got access to SimpleLogin via Proton subscription, which in turn plays really nicely with Bitwarden as my password manager..

Every new account gets a new alias from SimpleLogin via Bitwarden which then redirects to a specific ‘burner’ inbox and then can turn off the Aliases as needed.

Is it complicated to setup? It looks like it's still sent to your main inbox?

Not really, with my personal outlook account have a junkmail@ alias set up which all SimpleLogin are sent to and then a rule which auto moves all mail from *@simplelogin to this alias folder

Not to mention the AUSTRAC AML/CTF hurdles as well.

What sort of hurdles are we talking about here?

Your unknown unknowns will bite you, very hard. That's why you need competent legal advice. DIY is extremely risky in this space.

Maybe reach out to these guys (https://www.breakerindustries.com/)

Looks like you are walking down the same path in different places.

I'm a little annoyed at Hubspot at the moment and looking at migrating out.

We're a small sales team of two and the more we use the product, the more we need features in their next tier of subscription level, only issue is they only do a 5 user minium at the next tier and I cannot justify paying for three unused user licences.

Curious what are the features you are seeking?

Mostly the ability to customise templates for quotes/rough orders of magnitude and simplify the UI a touch (we’ve got a pretty simple sales process direct to government).

Though, have been back to testing salesforce in parallel with copilot for sales and it’s looking promising..

If you're mostly using the CRM for quoting, why not get a tool focused on that like pandadoc? It will be cheaper

I went through this in my job where the (very) old school boss kept everything as business cards and the CRM consisted of outlook contacts with zero context on who they were and what they did.

HubSpot free has done a decent job of bringing this into the 21st century, in a sort of workable manner.

But equally interested in something self-hosted. (And have played with a couple SH ERP systems such as Odoo, but haven’t been sold on the UI)

I had a circa 2016 set and they were rubbish.. Worth another look?

It just depends on your use case. If you want to appreciate music while sitting at your desk, no. But if you need to listen to a podcast or music while trail running, biking, at the gym, or other situations where situational awareness is important, then the degrade in audio quality is worth the trade off.

I think so. I was getting skin irritation if I exercised while wearing earbuds and the AfterShockz eliminate that problem for me. Sound quality is good for podcasts. I don't listen to much music at all with them.

The Aeropex/OpenRun is a massive improvement over my TREKZ Titanium from 2016. Still not anywhere near comparable to some nice headphones or IEMs.

seriously ? I have experienced the opposite. Got a TREKZ Titanium as leave-behind from my son. I love them. This Black Friday I got some OpenRun and had to return them as they did not sound just as good. what a mistery

Are there any write ups on how you simultaneously terminate this many employees from a logistical point of view?

Ie: does HR numbers need to be bolstered to handle it? How do you choose the 1200+ individuals?

(Cheapish) Strangely a stream deck.

I work in sales and it has been a godsend with quick access to documents, FX rates, time zones, launching apps, text snippets etc

How does this compare to the ‘Timeshifter’app?

I’ve used this quite successfully a few times on Aus to US/EUR trips in the past, with zero jet lag.

Generally like how simple the app is, but as an Aussie, I find starting the week on a Sunday off-putting.

When I open the web version of the calendar picker, it's showing Monday as the irst day of the week?

Btw, I didn't realize vast majority of the world outside Americas have week starting on Monday.

I've switched my calendar to start on Monday (as a USAian) because I prefer to not have my weekends split across two different rows. This became especially important as my kid's activities would fill our weekend and needing to ensure nothing else of importance was missed in planning out our upcoming week(s).
