Coding? Add billing and invoice generation to https://pepahana.com - a simple activity reporting tool I started last year. If I get motivated enough, maybe start on team and organization tools for it.
Non-coding? I want to write more. Lots more. Maybe finish a novel this year. That would be nice.
The only TRUELY passive income I have is a YouTube video, unedited, published in 2012 that generates me $500-$1,500 a year. I do absolutely nothing to the video to promote it. YouTube seems to recommend it every fall and it has been a nice little Christmas bonus each year.
Other than that, a few games I've published generate ~$100 a year without input from me. Everything else requires at least a little bit of my time on a regular basis and I wouldn't count it as passive.
Time off. I worked for over a decade in the automotive industry (sales, service, mechanic, etc) and most of those jobs offered 2 holidays and 1 week of vacation.
My current employer gives me 17 hoildays and 25 paid vacation days. Pretty much the best perk ever.
A simple reporting tool for tracking and reporting project/task activity.
It's cool because work requires me to submit an activity report each week and I wasn't about their terribly inefficient form, so I built a web-service to track my activities.
It's nothing special per-se, but it's significantly less complicated than other free options I've found for this sort of reporting and I like things that don't require me to learn how to use them.
That's not how a electronically assisted steering rack works. There is a manual connection with a little bit of slop and that slop provides some difference between steering wheel position and input shaft (to the steering rack or gear) position which triggers the power assist. It's basically the same as an old school power steering gear.
