In a highly controlled environments, the good ideas also take time to come to "consideration" :)

I have tried introducing a couple of new ways of working - but they didn't fly due to the environment not being contributive to the success of an idea.

But I do see your point - and that's what keeps me going day after day. It's just that the impatience of "seeing it come to life" is making things uncomfortable.
