"Buy, borrow, die" is simply not a thing. It's a half-baked idea invented by academics, who don't realize that it's just not viable in practice. Billionaires do not actually utilize it[1].
You may call them pathetic or hysterical but that doesn’t change the fact that the sentiment is real. The pace at which the current administration is burning through political capital that has been built over the last century is truly staggering and makes me wonder how much there will be left in three years time.
It's high time the Republicans embrace their new leadership with a re-branding of their outfit's name and henceforth call themselves The Banana Republicans
oh, those concept shots are hysterical. the one with the pink bike and the woman with 3 dogs kills, but the dj setup is where I said "too far" and closed the tab
I‘d draw a different conclusion namely that it’s decidedly pro republican via omission. There is not a single reference to the current administration‘s role (which Vance is obviously part of) in dismantling the US democratic norms and institutions.
But then again the oldest trick in the authoritarian‘s playbook is to abandon the path of democracy by tilting the scales in their party’s favor. which is why you want strong independent institutions and separation of powers in a democracy, something the current administration does not appear to be in favor of.
