They keep writing like they stand to profit from this or something. Too many “coulds” in there for me too, this could be an amazing advancement and it could be nothing… normally we look at data and last headline I saw was 25 “high” vulnerabilities at the cost of $1 million in tokens.

No comparison to human teams, and I’m sure that $1 million in tokens was used by humans, in a team. So like most AI, they’ve developed a tool that capable people can use to be better, but unlike most tools, they’re claiming this to be outright magic. The magic is the hype train.

Google Enterprise accounts are sunsetting AI Ultra in favor of consumption based pricing at the end of the month. It’s unclear how limits for AI Ultra might change for gmail users. Flash3.5 is much better at coding, but also more expensive the pervious flash models.

So much for AI getting cheaper.

For now, that's DeepSeek: https://api-docs.deepseek.com/quick_start/pricing/ (they have a discount until the end of the month, even after that they will have pretty good prices)

Or GLM or Kimi, Mistral is also surprisingly passable. Or just have to open the wallet and give money to OpenAI or Anthropic for the subsidized tokens.

This whole thing feels a bit like what GitHub did with Copilot, though.

These are models that can be run locally BTW. Just get enough hardware for your throughput requirements, have it grind on multiple batches of tokens 24x7 to get reasonable utilization (keeping the cloud for time-sensitive uses) and that's it, no more rug pulls.

I don't even think the consumption based pricing is available for the IDE, only Antigravity 2.0, so they are basically killing the IDE.

It boggles the mind why people think AI will get cheaper when they're all selling tokens at a loss already.

It never ceases to amaze me how such poor management can exist, and how such a large company with people who depend on them can simply just not exist overnight. I only did they file for bankruptcy twice, they somehow completely ran out of money overnight?

Well, all the people who had future booked tickets get a refund?

Love to hear any ideas or questions!

If you’re operating Google workspace without a well oiled Enterprise behind the scenes, a single admin account is a single point of failure.

I had this happen a couple years ago when I was migrating to a different domain. The only difference was all of the authentication that I supplied Google said was an adequate and I got into some sort of a login loop where Authenticator, SMS, DNS record nor pass key would provide enough authentication for me to get in.

I got the automated got bought to finally send me the mythical form, after completing that I was told that they were unable to authenticate me further. I ended up emailing their support multiple times and threatening lawsuits multiple times when I got a magic call from a human at Google. They also sent me the link that put me into a login loop however after chatting with them for nearly an hour I got a different magic login link form which appeared to work.

GitHub - Fork of signal-mcp to enable "lunch time mode" to interact with Google Antigravity while away from your desk via Signal. Not intended to be a background agent or continues worker. Chatting 'Lunch Time' or /lunchtime will enter agent into lunchtime mode to watch for signal messages and work on the responses.

Discussion starts at 06:30 - Treating neurological conditions with open-source TDCS.

GitHub repository: https://github.com/nathanfu88/opentdcs

The future isn't just written in code; it's wired in hardware. But what happens when you combine open-source philosophy with neurological treatment? In this episode, Nathan unveils his latest project: a low-cost, open-source Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (TDCS) device designed to treat conditions like depression and anxiety. We explore how standardizing the hardware and software for these devices can help facilitate clinical trials and solve the massive accessibility gap in mental health care. We also dive into the messy reality of physical product development. From the challenges of sourcing components in an AI-dominated supply chain to the nuances of choosing an Apache license for open-source hardware, we break down what it actually takes to bring a medical hardware concept to life. You will learn why multidisciplinary feedback is absolutely crucial during the sticky "middle phase" of execution, and how this simple circuit could democratize treatment.
