Fixing this shortly.

Theory: Screen lock was briefly broken few months ago. Maybe OP tested KDE during that time.

> The Ukrainians are inflicting heavy losses on the Russian side (including Wagner mercenaries) without taking losses that are nearly as heavy.

Have in mind that

1) These numbers are unreliable (although most likely in Ukrainian’s favour) 2) Numbers are not equal: 10 poorly trained Russian soldiers are not comparable to 1 elite Ukrainian sniper

Both true, but that doesn't mean the central point isn't correct, particularly when it comes to materiel.

Not just “rattling out”, often you had a quota as well.

Convenience is key here: play a game for 30-ish minutes, put it to sleep, pick it up the next day and you are right back where you left it. I think Steam Deck is actually more unsuitable for people who play games all the time.

Don’t you guys have phones?!

Lol, seems like Blizzard doesn't like my comment.

I had some ideas about how one can run a free speech social media without actual or shadow banning and without letting “problematic” accounts disturbing others. I think my ideas completely died around level 13. I mean I can make them work to fit the extra requirements, but it will be just a game of whack-a-mole where some other powerful entity dictates the rules for you. Welcome to hell…

Same thing for me, trying to learn Vietnamese - Anki does not cut it, so I am writing my own.

Turbopack is just a bundler, while Rome is the whole package. I think only Deno strives for the same, but still can’t replace things like eslint

Sure, but Rome is being eaten by the other things Vercel has, such as SWC replacing Terser and Babel. Pretty soon all of Rome's niches will be already met by other tools, I'd wager. I think Rome simply does not have a large and well-funded enough team compared to Vercel and others like Vite.

I think this could benefit Rome. Both projects are written in Rust and so far they have a linter and a formatter and now they can integrate Turbopack, package it behind "rome build" and don't have to build their own bundler and transpiler.

IMO, The whole thing behind Rome is that it will have one tool to do everything (lint, prettify, minify, build etc), so every part in pipeline remains in sync. Using other tools for parts of it(build etc) would be against the philosophy

Is Rome being used anywhere? I haven't heard about it for a while. Kinda figured it was dead tbh

May I recommend motif.land? Not open source yet, but it seem to be ticking all of your checkboxes.

Do you know if a mobile app is planned?

Not yet. We do support file sync though (https://motif.land/blog/syncing-text-files-using-yjs-and-the...) so you can use your mobile Markdown editor of choice.
