Yea true most restaurants use a simple QR leading to a PDF from their menu. With menu.cards you can create a dynamic menu, receive payments, custom domain all the good stuff ;)
Currently most of the customers get acquired via outreach.

Most of them in my area that didn't stop using QR entirely with general reopening, IME, have dynamic menus that track tables (the one app I am most familiar with has the table number as part of the QR code), order, tab, and payment processing, etc.
Even having contextual prompts for users to identify potential food allergens relevant to the order is in one app I’ve seen.
I read about the 2 billion a year in an article that I can't find at the moment. I will do some more research about this and remove the quote for now. Thanks for your calculation and for pointing this out!
I only shared it on my personal social media (not a big reach) and created a profile for it on Indie hackers. Unfortunately, I can't see how the first customer found me.
Time for a change!
It's recommended by dentists that every 3 months it's time for a new toothbrush (or when the bristles get frayed) to keep a healthy mouth full of teeth, to keep the brushing most effective and to keep a nice and clean toothbrush that doesn't look like a toilet-brush from a busy cafe. So why not go for a better looking, sustainable toothbrush that you can be proud to use.
We offer a yearly subscription so you can swap your toothbrush every 3 months without thinking about it. Once a year we send you a nice and clean paper package with four new toothbrushes made from bamboo. When it's time to swap your toothbrush for a new one we send you a friendly email reminder so you don't have to think about it.
