I went the API way but with Gandi, works like a charm!

Gandi is my registrar! Yes, I'm a fan. I may be mistaken, but something I worry about after trying Gandi's API for Let's Encrypt is the API keys provide permission for everything. I would love it if the permissions could be narrowed down to specific domains, records, and operations on them... AWS Route53 comes to mind, but my router (OPNsense) didn't have it available as an option. :(

You also have to consider that they don’t want to move to the US specificly due to ideological reasons. How many who don’t currently live in Russia would love to move there if their profession was no longer needed in the US? Same thing applies the other way around.

BMW’s are great cars, used to have one. But somehow their turn signals never seem to work.

The wheel and the gas work super well though. Maybe too well.

The problem that they don’t have the rights to make digital copies of the book let alone sell digital copies remains

”If you get too complicated the results will not respond well”

Seems to go for simple ones as well, the floor plan for four bedrooms and two bathrooms aren’t quite practical in the tests I did.

Never the less it’s a cool project being able to describe it like you would for a real person so will keep testing with more complex descriptions to see what it generates.

Or maybe a Southpark episode? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinpokomon

Have an upvote, one less karma to go.

And you too, sir. Have one yourself. On the house.

I picked up that habit back in the day when I was working with Citrix since back then the first Ctrl-c normally wouldn’t take. Still doing it to this day out of muscle memory.

Simply don’t use your company owned computer for personal stuff, period. I’ve worked in 1st line support and had my share of people calling in asking for help to erase their browsing history from porn urls. But the bottom line is, do you really want to be the one compromising the company you work for by visiting non-work related things? At least that’s the biggest reason for me to keep my work and private computers separate.

Edit: I just want to add that I however wouldn’t agree with or work for a company that monitors my work computer to make sure I’m always ”working” (taking screenshots, tracking mouse and keyboard etc).

The problem with banning encryption or e2e encryption is that it doesn’t solve anything. Criminals/terrorists will move to a chat app/service that offers e2e encryption no matter if it’s legal or not. It just means that the major players such as facebook, microsoft, google, apple etc can’t offer it so the only one left hanging is the law abiding masses.

But there is never going to be a silver bullet, it's always going to be a cat and mouse chase, does that mean we should quit playing at all?

There's no 'we' here.

Maybe that's the problem.
