The "underwhelming" iPhone 5 is actually running a functioning OS. You can create all the feature matrixes you want, doesn't change the fact that one was in peoples' hands today, and the other has to simulate it's features because it's software doesn't work yet

I'm on a Mac, almost always Photoshop but I recently bought Pixelmator. Not sure if I can use it for production work yet but I wanted to support their effort if nothing else.

I use Pixelmator all the time on my mac, it's excellent and I rarely find myself wishing for Photoshop.

The first Weapons of Mass Creation in Cleveland was community funded on Kickstarter 2 years ago, and keeps getting bigger.

I was recently creative director of a small software company that let their design team go. When I started the owner changed my employee contract from 14 to 28 days with the assumption that since I was in a management position with 5 reports, were I to leave the transition would have been hard to squeeze in to the standard 2 week period.

When he announced he was letting everyone go with 2 weeks severance, he was not too happy when I reminded him my contracted stipulated 28 days (he did honor it though).
