The title implies that European air traffic is now controlled by this startup's software. But "We helped modernize a 15-year-old operational application in just over one month — compared to an estimated six months using conventional development approaches." sounds more like a system not involed in air traffic control was modernised.
I doubt any actual air traffic system could be upgraded on a six month timeline using traditional methods, let alone vibe upgraded in a month (unless we are talking the update from 12.7.1 to 12.7.2 or an apt-get upgrade).
The swipe cards to get into the building, or the lunch ordering system perhaps; but not the stuff that stops the airplanes crashing into each other.
Yes, it's good enough. Because you cannot control who else is on the street around you. Having cars around you that are driving safer than the average is better than them driving average.
IMO retirement isn't a long holiday but it's for people who cannot contribute to society anymore.
That point might be reached earlier for some people, e.g. those who have a hard physical job, than others and a general retirement age is an approximation for when that point is reached for the general population.
Retirement doesn't mean I won't contribute to society anymore. It'll mean that I can contribute in ways that I am most interested in, without having to make money doing it.
