Not an AVer, but there are many studies on the ill-effects of adjuvants in vaccines. The industry has also had its fair share of SNAFUs. There is a reason for the 1986 vaccine law.
No product should be above criticism -- especially ones we inject into children.
"Ethicist" is someone paid by a large institution to run interference on the time-tested mores of those pesky little people. A big villain throws an underling under the bus. Life goes on.
Harvesting your data and selling it to the highest bidder -- ethical! -- as long as there are enough POCs and LGBTQIAs on the payroll.
edit: BTW, a neg without a reply is proof that you have no cogent argument.
You only have so much brain energy for the day. Use it wisely. Focus, focus, focus, and INTENSITY! Without these, the software biz is a slippery slope into house slavery.
I used a Unicomp several years back. It's an okay keyboard, but the USB current draw was very high. Without an externally powered USB hub, it wouldn't even work on my laptop. Perhaps this has improved since then?
Been using an alibaba special with kailh switches and LED backlights for years now. No complaints.
This Eco fellow is a little sloppy. The same underlying phenomenon often looks very different from perspective to perspective. The history of science has born this out repeatedly. The works of Newton being a superb counterexample to:
"whenever they seem to say different or incompatible things it is only because all are alluding, allegorically, to the same primeval truth.
As a consequence, there can be no advancement of learning"
He is indeed. Every time I read something by Eco I'm both surprised by how pleasant he is as a writer, and by how handwavy and poorly supported are his arguments and conclusions.
