Just a warning: I'm the same age and lack of adequate sleep came back to bit me hard last semester. (Getting about 4.5-7 hours of sleep every day, working out a lot, school, programming). It took me a long time to recover from some sickness and that required some sleeping - now things are so much easier / faster than before. The difference is incredible in terms of focus and work done. Now I'm getting about 6.5-8.5 hours of sleep, and it's much better. I still need to be better in terms of going to sleep, but going to sleep at 10:30-11:30 and waking up at 6-7 isn't bad at all.
Another Suggestion:
I like the interface, but iCal sync and/or having it printable with checkboxes, etc. would be really helpful to get it OFF the computer (or cell phone interface, jQuery mobile, etc).
I like how you currently implement the add to day interface, keep up the good work!

I just haven't had time since I wrote it.
(easter eggs: tab key + pressing enter twice).
If the Vively subscriber sets his settings to HTML 5 or "video for everyone" it will use that by default.
If you visit from iPad, you'll see video in HTML 5 regardless of the user's Flash setting.
Btw, if you post a vertical video shot on iPhone, that works too, it will be shown vertical.
We try to use the playback tech most likely to feel familiar and give good performance for the end user (viewer). A Vively subscriber can set to HTML 5, though, then preference is Ogg for Firefox, WebM for Chrome, H.264 for Safari.
I've really enjoyed SASS/SCSS optionally with Compass.
It lets you compile the stylesheets while still keeping the source files separate and organized.
I've also seen the approach with one big file for the application with commented sections, however, the drawback to that approach is using a version control system with multiple editors on a large file (merge conflicts, etc).
I've been using the betas over chrome for a few months now. They've redone the UI, it's stabler, less memory intensive, and the UI is completely redone.
It's definitely worth checking out even if you enjoy chrome.
