Totally agree with boredom is a choice. My parents don't believe in boredom... if you say you're bored, there's always housework, books to read, things to do. It's just a question of what you want to do.

I still do the same for almost all CRTs. I'm pretty young though. The most annoying was waiting for the ACT to start while hearing a loud super high-pitch electronic whine went on every five seconds.

My var story was a little harder scoping issue where a variable held the information for a pending call. It would asynchronously process the call, then mark the call as completed. Well, if there were more than one call going through, the callback was only getting one record, causing it to repeat the call about five times before I caught it and fixed the scoping.

I also have not seen this on my tumblr blog. I've only stumbled across one or two bot-like blogs.

I get them ALL the time. At least 1-2 likes from bots per post.

it depends on what tags I use, iPad is a popular one obviously.

Also, soemtimes I'll see a like of an ancient post with no rhyme to why. I'll agree though that a good percentage of likes / reblogs are spam / bots. They also often have ads on the blog so whoever is running it will get credit when you visit the blog to see who just liked / followed / reblogged you.

#triathlon mostly as its just my blog for talking about triathlon related things.

I signed up without connecting my facebook account to spotify (or at least, giving it permissions), and there have been multiple nag screens when I start spotify now to connect to Facebook, some without a close button, where I would just deny the facebook connection request. I wonder how long they will let me skip the publishing connection to facebook.

I've had the same problem. On the rare occasion that I can launch Spotify without it crashing it forces me through a bunch of modal dialogs begging me to connect my Facebook. Needless to say they won't be getting any more of my money.

If they're anything like Yahoo and their "new mail interface" initiative, you still have a couple years.

While social media can be a good catalyst for getting recommendations and getting your name out there, word of mouth recommendations are not to be underestimated for local business. I've started a web development business when I was 15, so it's cool to see others doing the same.

Totally agree. The code is open-source, and I won't sell the phone numbers. Really didn't mind too much if people do/don't use this.

Sorry about that, I had a callback error in the cron job that prevented call requests from being deleted. Should be fixed, and I thought the calls that got backlogged were only my test calls.

Shouldn't happen again.
