To quote a friend about this story, "Man no longer at Google makes assumption"...

Actually, the word I used was "prediction": http://friendfeed.com/paul/1af77944/prediction-chromeos-will...

That I don't work at Google is not relevant. (though perhaps you are working on ChromeOS?)

Paul and why do you actually think so?

If Google could serve ads with assumptions, they would endorse this assumption.

Horribly overpriced in the UK...

Yup, I was going to say the exact same thing... http://www.h-online.com/open/news/item/Google-Update-open-so...

Seems it'll be one of those 'wait and see' sort of things...

Isn't this news a bit old? It's from the end of July. :)

Well, Mozilla just raised their reward from $500.00 to $3,000.00 (http://www.h-online.com/security/news/item/Mozilla-offers-3-...). Also, while Google's offering up to $1,337 (http://www.h-online.com/open/news/item/Google-invites-attack...), they've actually awarded $2,000 on one occasion (http://www.h-online.com/security/news/item/Google-pays-2-000...)...

On the same night as Google's London Open Source Jam? :( http://osjam.appspot.com/

Also on the same night as the Cyanide and Happiness london meetup which probably attracts a fair amount of the HN audience.

i am going to try and attempt to reach both.

So, did you make it? :) I only made it to OSJAM which was great.

Same night as pub standards, too. http://www.pubstandards.co.uk

My thoughts exactly -- forward planning fail

That would be nice. I'd love to have a play with it on the Nexus One... :)

Which version of Opera are you using and on what OS?

I did have a few keys that worked (Office XP, 2003) but most do not work.
