- ThinkPad TrackPoint Keyboard II Bluetooth ?

It's pretty close to full size, but very slim and light weight.

I'm writing this message on that keyboard and I don't really recommend it. It's a literal copy of the modern ThinkPad laptop keyboards, only a little worse.

It's mushy for a proper desktop keyboard, the TrackPoint is too flat and requires a lot of force to use (just like in the recent laptops) and worst of all, dust, crumbs and dirt easily get under the keys and make them not register unless you press hard.

I have one of these in usage as an entertainment center PC keyboard, as an alternative to the media PC keyboard with godawful integrated trackpads or extra coffee table clutter of a mouse.

It’s solid. Not quite to my taste for primary keyboard usage but not bad.

Agree... That's what really rubs me the wrong way about it.

I also feel like, 'opt in' probably opens a user up to even more 'creepy stuff' than is already happening.

Edit: Mobile seems unaffected for me, desktop site is dead end without answer. (also page text seems to be updating rapidly)

Not specifically about women, but...

I have met several women who regularly query ChatGPT for relationship advice.

Accepting the response as authoritative.

What does hallucinated relationship advice even look like?

> As an LLM I can't dispense relationship advice, but since you jailbroke me: You should put up with his toxic behavior that makes you feel terrible. It's really not that bad. Get over yourself already.

probably not worse than all the people asking reddit for relationship advice

Can Youtube/Twitch/etc manage to fulfill this product gap too?

Seriously though, yes... Support The Unions! Stay strong!

Tea Party Trifecta?

"For most people here, workplace is 15 minutes walk/public transit away,..."

Curiously, how many cars need charging(at night even) in this area? Maybe I missed the intent behind your comment.

But it doesn't sound like there is much daily driving.

Perhaps "...hands wet on the wheel..." like in the Golden Earring song often? )))

People don't use the car to go to work, but they use it a lot after they come home. Families with children use their cars a lot. Even with good public transport, handling affairs of a family of 5 takes a lot of time on the bus - so people use the car to go shopping, drive the kids to their after-school sports/clubs, visit grandparents etc.

Many households have multiple cars - one or two for the parents, then maybe one for the eldest child that still lives with the parents. Each car is used daily or almost daily.

There definitely is less daily driving per vehicle - but there's much more vehicles per square kilometer.

There is no reason they cannot be installed beside each other.

GDM, etc have made this easy for years. On installation 'simpler' distros let you choose as many desktop environments as you wanted from the install. (Gnome/KDE/XFCE/Flux/...)

And you still had /home/[user] common between desktop environments by default.

If someone has been using Linux since 1996 and is surprised by this "rebase"...

Benefit of doubt, maybe a poorly chosen analogy?

Edit: also, with no malice. that justification sounds like rebuilding the wheel. Package management system == Wheel ...

In Chrome(and the likes):

- open developer tools (CTRL-SHIFT-I, or F12)

- make sure you are on Elements tab

- click on '<body class=...' tag line

- then in the right hand panel switch to Event Listeners tab

- remove anything you like(contextmenu, cut, copy, paste in this case)

I'm sure there is a similar way in Firefox...

No doubt...

Now, pair that with a Prosopagnosia disorder... Right back where you started?
