Hoping Millet doesn't mean anything offensive in any language… Studio Ghibli had this problem mildly with their film "Laputa" ("la puta" = "the whore" in Spanish).
It will sound like an Show HN, but if you want to use a microblog that you can follow more regularly, instead of opening a thread on Ask HN every time for this question, here you go. Theme was especially likened to HackerNews.
Hacker's Work: What are you working on? A microblog for your works (https://hackerswork.com)
Exactly, not just Taiwan, they'll also use South Korea and Japan
Just recently they moved their US base to Okinawa, Japan, despite locals against it, for some reason their government pushed it after Abe got assassinated
Yes, we can see the same situation between Greece and Turkey. As you know, there are also problems between the United States and Turkey. With the recent agreements, F-35 and the bases opened in Greece, the same policy can be applied against Turkey.
Even though I want to share, especially in environments such as twitter, I do not share because it may sound too technical. In addition, although there are people I want to follow, especially from HN and GitHub, we do not have much information about who is doing what.
That's why I created this site. It took me about 3 months.
I tried to make the design as similar to HN as possible. "Zima Blue" was the inspiration for its color and logo :)
I think there is: Java code bases are so often OO MudBallFactoryTemplates, that management is starting to realize Java is the best obfuscation language for developers seeking to build a nice gilded-ivory tower...
Are we lone wolves as hackers? We don't think so. While we do good works like everyone else, we would like to share the technical details of these works and follow the works of others like us. We know we are not alone as we work to create great work later in the night, but we also want to see it.
This is exactly the purpose of this site. Creating a hacker group for yourself, sharing your works and following the posts and online/offline status of the people you follow.
Theme: The color and logo on the site are inspired by the episode "Zima Blue" in the TV series Love, Death & Robots.
