I remember when you launched this, and I signed up for it right away. I still read it every day. I can't believe it's been 15 years already! Thanks for this awesome service.
Pretty much. The Chrome versions are only a few months old while the Apple platform ones are much older. Plus, honestly, I don’t nag users to leave ratings/reviews within the app.
Add a -ai to the end of your Google search query. There are also browser extensions that stop the AI content from displaying. I use the one for Chrome called "Remove Google Search Generative AI".
Great tip! But it only remove's Google's terrible AI summary, not AI generated content from showing up in searches, which is what the OP wishes for. A combination of -ai and before:2022-01-01 is probably the closest we can get to that
We don't have tech to correctly "detect ai" in 2024, which is why education has broken down over the last few years with serial cheating in every institution.
Every company so far that claimed to detect AI generated slug has failed.
Optoma UHZ50. It's not a high-end model and a lot of people have reported issues, but I've had none and I think it was a no-brainer at 50% off on an open box.
It's not true 4K in that it's natively 1080p, but has a mirror that rapidly shifts the laser, allowing it to show "4K" albeit at 60Hz instead of 240Hz. Not quite as clear as true 4K, and if you get really close to your screen you'll see pixel lines corresponding to 1080p, but it's not noticeable from even two feet away.
It's also a single laser, not triple laser, so it's not quite as vibrant or bright as a triple laser, but it's also way less expensive.
Personally, I leave it on 1080p/240Hz when gaming and it's very lush. Paired with the right screen, it can be vibrant and have great black levels. I've been using it for a year and a half almost daily with no problems. I recommend it if you can find it at a good price, but if I got a projector today I'd probably look for an ultra short throw out of convenience. If you have a higher budget though, I'd recommend looking at some higher-end models.
Thanks! Yes, I’m working solo on this. I’m planning to launch premium features soon next month, including order functionality, customization options, and full analytics. For payment processing, I’m considering Stripe/LemonSqueezy, but I'll confirm closer to launch.
Yes, taking orders and the whole online shop experience are part of the premium features coming soon!
This is just a beta launch I just wanted to get some feedback.
For now, you can add affiliate products, which is a great way to start.
It's incredibly disingenous to say "free" with additional premium features and the ONE feature a user would expect from an online store builder is ... taking orders.
You'll get a store with easy listing in the free plan, along with a custom action button.
Just remember, this is a beta launch, so I’m looking for feedback as I continue to develop features... :)
Great job! Please add/create a colorful favicon to the site so I can save it in my Google "bookmarks bar" without the name. Right now, it looks like this with a dark theme:
