ok, i was trying to do this for production. I am switching over to firebase but it's not working well with my client-server-architecture

Ah I see, most frontend frameworks have libraries that work with firebase auth. If you use an MVC like rails or .NET core MVC etc, you can use Firebase auth from a CDN and put it in script tags along with JS to work with the library.

I really like the quora interface. I think old quora used to have a good community like HN. So I'm designing the ui kind of like that

A personal preference, but Quora is likely one of the worst UIs. I really dislike how it mixes answers to different questions into one page. You google something, see it's discussed on Quora, but maybe 1 out of 10 answers there are actually about your question.

yeah that's the new quora. it's really bad now but used to be really good

I've never been a fan of Quora so I don't know it's UI very well. Can you be more specific?

What do you mean? i'm using llms to debug code and stuff

dont worry theyll grow back

Yes. The more you close the gap, the less I will work.

Because a big part of the search engine algorithm is recommending things based on how long others spent time there, what other sites they clicked on, etc. There's obv way less data on that for internal search engines.

Computer Science is my plan. I don't know if I need to collaborate or not, but from what I know that's not too common. Location is obv a huge plus for me for NEU. However Wisconsin might be better reputation wise.

Whenever people ask "Should I do a bootcamp" it shows they either aren't serious about CS or don't have the willpower to crack into a new field.

USA should mind its own business and stop wasting our tax money to bully countries in the middle east. Anyone that supports this crap should be the full bearer of costs.
