Yeah, I totally agree with that. It might be better to just contract the job out.

I maintain my to-read books list in Notion. I've seen the positive impact during the pandemic mostly.

Are these production debuggers similar to cloud APMs like Datadog, New Relic or so?

not really! these debuggers let you collect logs & traces from your running applications and you can put/delete your tracepoints on-demand without stopping and redeploying your applications. what's more, they are a lot more lightweight compared to APMs and some of them even aggregate collected stack informations with telemetry trace ids.

This looks really promising especially for companies which want to invest in training their developers!

We love playing a role in helping companies that are invested in the growth of their developers! Since this launch, we've been getting inbound from developers keen to work with us on getting a pilot with their companies.

We're excited to be help developers get a CodeCrafters subscription through their companies, so if that applies to you, please reach out! sarup@codecrafters.io

Automating tests is vital after some point. But finding the right starting point is pretty challenging.

I think it supports Jest framework. But I generally work with Java and Python. I've noticed the JUnit support but I'd also like Pytest support too!

The LocalStack community is so supportive and the team is lovely!

It’s a pain in the ass to debug with huge log piles. Good to see such improvements.
