A lot of the "modern tools" people use these days like git GUIs are just complicated fronts for their shell equivalents. Shells certainly are not outdated by any stretch of the imagination.

Perhaps. Wish it was an extension offered by Google (or a default feature of Gmail/Inbox) instead of a third party.

- It's okay to write code that isn't "perfect" but gets the job done.

- Make efforts to simplify things and make them maintainable for the future, but not at the expense of your health, well being, or the cohesion of your team.

- Stress will kill you and mess with the people around you (especially your spouse). Learn to understand yourself and how you react to emotional stimuli so you can "roll with the punches".

Very good question. It'd be better if they'd just written a tl;dr version of the article and put it at the top.

Regardless of understanding and ability to type, I've had mixed experiences attempting to access sites with non .com TLDs from behind corporate network policies. You're specifically asking about email here which might not be affected by that, but it's not out of the realm of possibility to want a personal site hosted at the same TLD your email comes from.

I believe you are correct. System Integrity Protection is likely what they meant.

You should totally make a GitHub issue for that feature suggestion.

I respectfully disagree. A secondary definition that is offensive to some and entirely unknown by others should not dictate a name change.

I'm really, really excited about this, especially once you expand to other games. I'm big on The Crew and Rocket League but am most active in Kingdom Hearts Union χ and our party is terrible at being organized when it comes to raid event scheduling. This could very easily solve that and integration with Discord (which we already use) makes onboarding a breeze.

That's great to hear, that's exactly the idea. I haven't actually looked into Kingdom Hearts Union at all, thanks for the tip.

Awesome to see PICO-8 on the front page! Nice article!
