You know, I could do without the telephone and SMS features nowadays. I just need a data SIM. Then the device just needs to run a Linux distro with a mobile UI.
I'm pretty sure my Linux desktop version of Signal runs great on small screens.
My question is, what is the difference in vehicle death mortality since cannabis was legalized in those parts of the country. If it's about the same, it just tells me that cannabis is a very popular drug.
From what I understand, the effect of legalization (or decriminalization) on the amount of cannabis use is not straightforward at all. You'd have to factor that in somehow.
I used to work as a software tester in Tampere, Finland with Nokia devices. We didn't test those devices in particular, but they were a big buzz in our office back in the day. I still have my n810, but haven't used it in years after the battery died. I remember adding a bunch of unofficial repos and having things like apache and python running on it and using it as a web server for a while. Eventually the battery was so discharged, even having it plugged in to the PSU would not be enough to keep it powered. It was such a shame it wouldn't run without the battery. I probably would still have use for it.
Glad to hear that! Buildless is the whole idea — drop in a <script>, wire up a few +click / +load attributes, and you’re up and running. The goal is to keep things simple and view-source-able without needing a bundler or toolchain.
Repetitive negative thinking was a symptom of my undiagnosed ADHD. Getting diagnosed and medicated took away the repetitive negative thinking, or as I called it ruminating negative thought patterns.
I really wish I could get diagnosed too. My psychiatrist refuses to even consider it because she says with my psych history as a kid they'd have identified it. But that's nonsense because thinking some adhd has changed hugely since the 80s. You needed to be rain man to be seen as autistic. And adhd was only diagnosed for loud obnoxious kids. My psychiatrist is also very old and kinda clings to those definitions.
But because of this I'm locked out of medication :'(
I got my diagnosis at 49. It took about 18 months, multiple visits to a doctor and 3 different specialists, and a lot of money, but it has been a game changer to feel somewhat normal. I'm only angry because I could have lived a much better life, if I was diagnosed early on. I really believe the people that could have helped me, knew what problem I had, but didn't want to help. I don't believe that people who called me stupid and lazy were that stupid. Even now I believe there are some barriers they have because as soon as each of my children turned 13, the call from the teacher came, informing me of suspected ADHD (ADD).
