This is a good idea. I've been trying to build in methods for determining if you'll get along with a person, but the idea that you might be able to filter based on deal breakers is interesting. Or to filter based on what's not needed. I think there's this motivation for companies no a days to aim for their perfect candidates who know 40 languages and I never really know why. Is that really their goal? Do they just want someone to say they know all of those things? Why not just focus on what's needed and what's needed a little down the road. It seems like if a person could help with that, they'd be helpful in the future.

This is my goal for www.nextcept.com. I focus all my spare time on building to see if I can create a new way of finding people to work with through personal questions rather than something like a resume. Thanks for checking out the article. It was more of just a rant about what I’ve run into over the years.

Thanks for checking out the article. These are really just areas I’ve found over the years. I’m sure there are many other successful methods.

I run a successful business and have been trying to build nextcept for a while now on the side. I think it's just a needed area. Depth over superficial conversations to find solid people to work with.

Ha. I agree. People these days just seem to respond to outlandish claims over something real like - I’m building a venture network that helps teams come together and here’s an article I wrote about everything I’ve learned so far.

Well, I could understand that. I’d say the “all searches” should be changed to - “optional sort by location”. We’ll be adding international support soon. Thanks for checking it out and if you want to try again you should be fine with using a zip code other than your own for the time being.

Ah shoot - the wording made me think it was not going to work for me.

I love the idea, have bookmarked

Very cool. We’re going to be adding the job posting piece in the next couple of weeks. We’ve been focused on the network and the functions to help people find each other. If you’re signed in, you can go from question to question and seeing people’s answers. It’s pretty cool how it works. We had the idea but we weren’t sure what it would be like. Once you find an answer you appreciate, you can then learn about the person, jump to others, etc.
