I need VMs. I need NetApp Volumes that interact with my environment. I use Kubernetes. We have some serverless web app stuff, but I can make that work in Azure or AWS or GCP along side the non-severless.

Apple is holding the tech industry back by forbidding any browser on iOS except Safari and then refusing to implement any APIs that would allow web applications to compete with their app store. Apple is choosing profit over progress.

with more and more illegitimate tracking being done, informing those being tracked seems a benefit, not a drawback.
there is a difference however between one institution tracking who all the people are that i am looking at, vs the person i am looking at finding out for themselves who is looking at them.
