It is interesting to note that DDR and DDR2 are more immune to this kind of attack. Older computers with decently patches OS/browser would be safer to use for those who want to avoid Row hammer.

Thanks, I've always wondered under which conditions BSD networking performs better compared to Linux. It's the number of simultaneous streams as opposed to raw bandwidth for fewer streams.

Well BSD kernel will also choke at more or less the same limits as linux kernel.

The key point here is that a netmap driver bypass the kernel and therefore open the door to many millions packets per seconds or millions requests per seconds. Not many Gbps

From the same company that has also created arguably the best and most accurate weather app for Australia.

Yep - PocketWeather is also great. ShiftyJelly has been a standout in the Aus indie dev scene

They say that a photo is worth a thousand words. This is certainly the case with the the last few photos of the landscape how it looked before and after.

Likewise Black Adder series concluded with a similar visual contrast: https://youtu.be/vH3-Gt7mgyM?t=176

Thanks for that

A big Max Payne 1 & 2 video game fan here and I completely disliked the movie. For me it's a prime example of what the article debates.

I wonder how those pictures would compare if they were taken by the same camera technology.

Try this on for size: https://cdn.theatlantic.com/static/mt/assets/science/lastwin... from this following article: https://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2013/01/aghas...

The left image is, amazingly, a daytime shot - the sun is visible in the top-left corner. The smog was so bad on that day ("Black Tuesday", November 1939) that a camera essentially could not capture any detail _in broad daylight_.

MyPhoneExplorer and Samsung SideSync on Windows/macOS had this for a few years now. Glad to see an application for Linux now.
