I have seen this kind of thing(no lock files) in few of recent clients' work when trying to fix their issues that came "out of nowhere" after recent deployment, as they said.

Lockfiles in Node do not work well. Many projects outright disable them and instead pin dependencies. They were designed and implemented in a rush, and it shows.

I am also very melancholic person and love to be alone. Actually, never looked up on the meaning of saudade till now but it perfectly sums it up why I am also in love with Brazilian Bossa Nova tunes.

However, as I get older, I also understood that, it's also a bit egoistic. I push myself now to talk to people often, especially in the mornings where I hate to talk the most. I am good with people and love them actually, and pretty sure you do to.

Deep down all of us want to connect with one another, even if it's just one person, try it out. Try to push yourself in the beginning and see how it works out.

Same in Azerbaijan, everything can be paid through banking apps. Electricity, gas, internet, mobile, fines, taxes, gov, services, couriers and so on...

It's easier to do on contracting. Been doing it for almost 3 years now and won't change it back.

However, I have seen plenty of my friends who does the same who are employed full time, even some who work in the offices physically.

I really don't mind 1x programmer/programming, hell, probably am myself.

Most companies don't as well. Issue lies with people who create work for others on every task they are assinged to work on. Hence, -1, negative net developers, and there are plenty of them everywhere.

I personally finally found Thinkpad T14 to work properly with no issues with 4 hours of battery life on Ubuntu(Regolith) out ot the box.

Only issues with this model for me is that the speakers are very weak, you can barely hear anythint most of the time.

I love my Regolith/Ubuntu setup and don't want to move anywhere.

However, I can't find a decent machine which will last for 4 5 hours on battery, and it is important. My brand new Thinkpad T14 lasts less than 3 hours, and I am on minimalistic setup with only few apps running. Tried all kinds of power management tweaks.

OTHER thing is the issue with the microphone on external devices in Linux which is pain, which is why I always have to use my phone for calls.

Good old memories. Circa 2006-2008 Azerbaijan. College students used to attend competitions, mostly ACM like questions, solved on paper. Only finals were solved using computers. Most of us used Delphi later on, but dumped quickly. Need to check what's happening in Delphi scene.
