> Companies exist to earn money

By providing product or services of value, not by maximing profits at any cost (definitely not by taking advantage of people, shortcomings of rules/laws, ... , or by harming people, ... , environment)

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not

> I've wondered if it is some innate need to nourish herself with calcium, or if it's stress relief :)

methinks: Calcium is required to make the egg shell. Calcium supplements would help, just in case "Life finds a way".

Funny enough, people often scramble chicken eggs in this case :) I guess enough calcium leeches off into the eggs themselves. Maybe I'll try that tonight.

For me, if someone says "try and see for yourself", it implies possibility of failure or something new.

If outcome is considered in terms of success or failure then try implies non-zero probability of failure. If outcome isn't considered in terms of success or failure then "try this flavour of ice-cream" is experience and try this outfit(fits or doesn't) is a test you can't fail. Philosophically, it is as master Yoda said: Do or do not, there is no try.

Felt like deja vu

“The factory of the future will have only two employees, a man and a dog. The man will be there to feed the dog. The dog will be there to keep the man from touching the equipment” – Warren G. Bennis.

> There's simply so much to know that the LLM has an inherent advantage.

But do they understand it? I mean, A child used swear words, but does it understand the meaning of the swear words. In other comment, somebodies OH also mentioned about artistic abilities and utility of the words spoken.

Does a submarine swim?

It doesn't matter to my employment prospects if the AI "understands" or "thinks", whatever is meant by that, but rather if potential employers recon it's good enough to not bother employing me.

> Not to lie me in the face.

Are you saying that, it deliberately lied to you?

> With right knowledge and web searches one can answer this question in a matter of minutes at most.

Reminded me of Dunning Kruger curve, the ai model at the first peak and you at the latter.

> Are you saying that, it deliberately lied to you?

Pretty much yeah. Now “deliberately” does imply some kind of agency or even consciousness which I don’t believe these models have, its probably the result of overfitting, reward hacking or some other issues from training it, but the end result is that the model straight up misleads you knowingly (as in - the thinking trace is aware of the fact it doesn’t know the answer but it provides it anyways).

> capitalism favors profits over anything else.

At what rate of return does "profits" turn into unbridled greed and capitalism turns into parasitic exploitation?

Mark Twain — 'Loyalty to country ALWAYS. Loyalty to government, when it deserves it.'

In democracy government is for the country/people and not the other way round.
